Crimson Dames - Werewolf Transformation

I think this one in particular highlights the melding of the woman and the wolf. The pinprick pupil, combined with the thickening brow and emerging muzzle give a solid look at the feral side pushing through the consciousness.

There almost seems to be a hint of a smile on her face, as though at least part of her is enjoying the change, though, so you've still got human intelligence visible in the picture.

There's a good level of implied motion without sacrificing detail, and the picture has just a great kinetic feel to it. It's definitely a wonderful representation of the transformation without feeling cheap or crass. For a sketch, it's above and beyond what a LOT of sketchwork is.
