Knowledge is power and Hawk Gerewulf craves it more than blood itself. He is among the most focused of his Father’s seven children especially were the research of necromancy and lost technologies are concerned. He is utterly fascinated with the intense levels of raw power the Lich are capable of commanding while bearing none of his clan’s vampiric weaknesses. He seeks to learn the source of their power and how he might capture it for his own.
Despite his rather somber, scholarly, attitude; Hawk can be a daunting opponent on any field of battle, when he wants to. In combat his intelligent yet stylistic moves are laced with the necromantic sorcery of his clan’s blood art. While he is many times stronger than any mere human he still lacks the power necessary to match his elder sibling’s strength one for one.
While Hawk would prefer to ignore the petty power struggles between his siblings he is all too often drawn into his sister’s dark schemes. He would much rather lose himself within arcane tombs of research than be risking his neck for his voracious sister. He especially despises Alcinus because she destroyed several thousand invaluable tombs when she and her father originally descended upon Terra. He believes it’s completely inexcusable to destroy precious knowledge especially when it’s just to keep your enemies in a state of anarchy.
Hawk dedicated a number of centuries toward researching the Sanguine Armor, a deadly plate mail crafted centuries ago by the Lich Baulter. While Baulter often used his own life’s blood to strengthen his armor to a nigh impenetrable state, Hawk developed a method by which the vampires could draw blood from their armor. While this had the effect of making the armor brittle, it made it possible to boost their speed, agility, strength, and mental focus to levels previously thought unobtainable. Arkanel was most pleased with the results of this line of research, and has since provided his fourth child with all the resources he could desire.
