Werewolf Ladies, Livestream, Find me!
Man I really wasn't expecting this project to explode in scope quite the way that it did. I was aiming for this to be a rather simple project I could knock out quickly for Halloween but as the number of figures in the piece grew so too did the time necessary to complete it. Even started it half a month early. XD I've got a little over 3 figures left to render then various touchups, oh and I still need to do a semi clothed variant. Shouldn't be too difficult a process but time consuming all the same. I really need to start researching too what places would be ideal to order poster prints from. Or to track down an affordable service that can print off and ship directly to buyers. My works can be hit or miss tho color wise due to my colors and shadows being rather vibrant. Historically my prints have come out too dark.

Lupina's Hallow (Remake) (WIP)
With the background textured I started working in the highlights, starting with the cloth at the bottom. Experimented with a lot of different colors for it but found that a purple hue complimented the reds and orangy flesh tones best.
Am now working the highlight into Lady Wolf in the back.
Man the reduced scale drawing never feels quite as good as the high res version I'm working on. I need to find a more efficient means of reducing their scale. Has to be a setting I'm missing somewhere.
Is looking more and more like I wont be able to reach my personal goal of Halloween for this piece despite my earlier start for it sadly. .o ,
I'm sure tho that the extra time poured into it will really shine through at the end. ;D

Studio-Aegis is live!
Had a fun birthday this weekend! Finally hit level 40!
Tho my birthday was Friday I consider the festivities to go on all the way till Halloween. ^o ^
My Keto diet is still going strong but have slowed down with the fasting aspect. am trying for now a 1 day off one day one approach. were every other day I only have a single soft boiled egg with lots of salt and mebe some salty keto safe snacks more so for the sake of the salt than out of any need to eat. Muscles can cramp up without enough salt.
Electrolyte supplements I got too just don't work without food at all, so taking one with that egg helps the materials get absorbed a lot easier.
I noticed one weird side effect where I would get this really bad taste on my tongue when im lacking in a particular suppliment, and when i take the pill with an egg it goes away immediately, which i believe is supposed to mean that its helping a lot more with the fat burning process.
Am down almost 19 pounds since I started this a little over a month ago. Brother and Co. said they could see i looked a lot thinner in the face, and walking around out of my house revealed to me just how badly my pants are falling off now. XD
I wasn't quite ready for the next size down unfortunately but a belt will help for the now. :p
Wound up crashing too early last night to stream due to family having kept me up too late and or early over the weekend. so I figured I'd do an early morning stream. The illustration is really starting to come together now and I'm really excited to see how it continues to develop.
I'll stream for maybe about 3 hours then go do some yard work, make food, then take a nap before the evening stream. :p

A thousand pardons for vanishing for so long from this site. When DA forced that major overhaul onto the site it made everything so grossly inefficient to work with that it severely killed any desire to even begin trying to wrap my head around just how severely they had damaged the user experience and how I was expected to adapt to such a mess of a user interface. I gave it about a year to see if they fixed any of it up or at least smoothed out some of the harsh edges some. It still looks pretty bad to me from what I've seen so far. I used to be able to swiftly check out what new images people I followed were posting or scan the groups for interesting content and saving them into various favorite folders to be saved for future reference. What used to take me moments per day became an ordeal that was now going to take hours. Is to the point that I probably wont get back to using those folders anytime soon. I have been continuing my work this entire time though, and have been posting my works to my core website at Studio-Aegis.
The best place to keep track of what I'm up to is there, my Crimson Dames Discord Server, or now my new Minds.com account. I'm not really posting to Facebook or Twitter anymore. Have come to completely despise those sites and the damage they've caused to my following. Mind's I'm finding is a much preferable space to reach out and meet new people. Don't believe the lies, It's got quite the decent spread of unique voices. Their focus is protecting free speech, but the place isn't without its growing pains.
They are still advancing what all the platform is capable of and how to handle the usual suspects who are out to destroy the platform in its infancy. Which will be far more difficult than it is with other competing platforms given their unique decentralized nature. They even pay their users for doing the everyday tasks we would naturally be doing that help to strengthen the network and bring new content in for their users.
It's gotten me to start taking matters like crypto currencies and and even Stock markets more seriously. And while either subject is just shy of being straight up rocket science, I believe I am slowly but surely starting to be able to make some progress with wrapping my head around its concepts.
Instead of the usual Ads seen on other platforms, the ads on Minds are completely user based. Posts that have been boosted to be visible on other feeds. Which gives value to their token system in that it helps its users to grow their following and to be discovered by new users.
Some of the boosted posts I could surely do without, some are right up my alley. There's still a lot of growing to be done there concerning how we can interact with or dismiss stuff we'd rather not see in our feeds but it is getting better over time.
I've been primarily cultivating a feed with rising artists, experienced artists, and indie creators looking to reach out to new audiences. Overall though things are much more balanced there, normal down to earth people who are much friendlier than the likes we typically see on twitter these days.
There is still a lot of room for improvement there, but the benefits their providing are very intriguing to me as a creator and I hope they continue to improve upon the site and listen to their users feedback.

Alternatively I've also copied over my membership tiers onto my Minds account. Same prices same rewards! Only with the slight catch being that you can pay via tokens. Well actually I'm more so experimenting with accepting tokens. If it doesn't end up panning out I may have to discontinue that means of support. But for the now could be an interesting way for those of you who have love income to support my creations. ^_ ^ It's one of the few means where you can actually support a creator via exposure! As the tokens can be used to boosts awareness of our creations and get more eyes on them. I really am hoping to see more artists migrate over to using Minds. I do see from time to time the usual suspects from twitter trying to take over and back stab the platform and its users, but their far and few between there.
